"Edna and I have great pleasure in forwarding to you this testimonial of appreciation and thanks for Jana's efforts in building a beautiful, high quality home handed over to us a week ago.

As you might remember we first met you about 9 months ago when we put our previous home on the market and signed a conditional contract with you to construct a house and land package for us upon the unconditional sale of our house. We will always remember with gratitude your patience during the wait of about 2 months it took to sell the house

What you might not know is why we decided to go with Jana Living and therefore we would like to tell you. Edna and I decided to downsize, not the house size, but the garden size and also, because we were getting older, opted for a new house which would as much as possible minimise future maintenance problems. With this in mind we looked at lots of show houses and ended up in a complete state of confusion. All the builders appeared to want to talk about vastly reduced "extras" using some sort of "funny money" which only served to further confuse. As a chartered engineer all this really irritated me since we always seemed to be talking to "bean counters" and nobody who was prepared or indeed capable of talking technical outcomes. One day however I happened to be in Aldi's car park and saw your office and dropped in just out of chance. I looked at one of your floor plans and decided to look no further especially when I found out I was talking to technical people who were prepared to discuss technical aspects and who were able to make decisions regarding alterations to designs which did not involve incredible price rises providing I was prepared to operate within fixed slab sizes etc. Indeed the design we eventually chose was altered on your recommendation to make the living space more functional. The last clinching factor was when you informed us that you only used local trades people, not visiting firemen from out of town.

At all stages of the build we found nothing was too much for you. Everything was discussed and any potential problems made known and aired. Indeed even your building manager came up with ideas during the build which made the house more livable and involved minor changes which we had mutually not noticed at the time the contract was signed. This to me evidences a competent professional business.

With regard to your staff, we could not find a single fault with them. From the office staff to the construction supervisors we could not fault them. Everything that was promised was accomplished and what could not be accomplished was never promised until it was certain it could be. The same went for the trades people you contracted. Their standard of workmanship under Jana supervision was impeccable and the end product excellent.

In conclusion we would in particular like to thank you ,Trevor, for all your help and Dan, Ros, Dave and Paula without whose efforts the end result could never have been achieved so smoothly. Edna and I are so impressed, that, should you wish to, we are so proud of our house that we would be happy that if from time to time you wished to show a potential customer a finished product we would be happy to "open the door" for you.
